My posts have become way too emotional and serious.  It’s time to get back to the mockery of online dating.

And, my friends, we’re coming back with a vengeance.

Did you know that there are dating sites out there for people to meet men and women in prison?  I kid you not.  Let’s look at one of them:  http://www.Meet-An-Inmate.com/

The fact that this type of website exists doesn’t really surprise me.  In fact, after having watched a few episodes of Prison Wives on Netflix, I am not shocked, but rather, intrigued.

So, my lovely readers, let’s take a trip to prison and see who is out there for a love connection.  First we’ll look at the men in who are my age – 38.

I brought up one profile and it reads:

Hi, I’m 38 years old. I’ve been incarcerated for 18 straight years. I’m in for 2nd degree murder. To give it to you straight, I killed a person during a robbery in 1995. I was a stupid kid who made a real stupid split second decision. I’m truly sorry, but I can’t take it back. I am fortunate enough to have a second chance. I have 3 years remaining. I’ve spent my time getting educated and staying in good shape.

Basically, I’m looking to write someone with a sense of humor and some common sense. After 18 years of prison talk, I need normal conversation, please! I’m in a minimum security prison. I train service dogs. It is by far the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. I’m finally doing some good. If you’re looking to talk to someone with a little common sense and want to hear a joke or two, I’m your guy. I hope to hear from you.

You have to give the guy some credit.  He sounds pretty normal, even if he did murder someone.

Frankly, I’m at a loss here.  Let me just conclude by saying that there really is someone for everyone.
